Azlan Komeng is in a stable condition after an accident and needs to undergo hip surgery

PETALING JAYA: Action star and stunt performer Azlan Komeng, 48, is currently in a stable condition and has been transferred to Batu Pahat Hospital in Johor, Sinar Harian reported.

This latest development was shared by his wife Nur Nilam Ortiz during a live broadcast on TikTok on Monday afternoon (October 14).

She added that Azlan will undergo another major operation on his broken hip.

“We requested the transfer from Kuala Lipis Hospital in Pahang to be closer to family members who can support him in his recovery.

“Aside from that, he will need some time to recover from his injuries.

“Let us pray for the recovery of ‘abang’ (Azlan Komeng),” Nur Nilam said.

On October 13, Azlan suffered a fractured left leg and injuries to his face, head, hands and legs after he was involved in an accident in Kuala Lipis, Pahang, yesterday morning.

The incident occurred around 2 a.m. when the car driven by Azlan with his wife and their five-year-old son Adam on board collided with a police truck.

Azlan has already undergone surgery in Kuala Lipis to repair his hand crack, his wife said.

Nur Nilam explained that her husband’s quick actions helped protect her from more serious injuries in the event of an incident, leaving her with only minor wounds and swelling.

She expressed gratitude that her five-year-old child was uninjured in the accident and only cried.
