The lawsuit accuses Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping a woman at an afterparty in Las Vegas

A woman has accused rap mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs of raping her at a Las Vegas afterparty, one of several allegations made in a series of new lawsuits.

The plaintiff, identified only as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, claims Combs attacked her while she attended the afterparty at Planet Hollywood in 2014.

According to the complaint, Combs instructed the plaintiff to take a drink from one of the open bottles at the bar. About 40 minutes after she had a drink or two of what she thought was vodka, she began to feel “nauseous and dizzy.”

She was instructed to lie down in an empty bedroom and when she woke up the next morning she found Combs in the room yelling at someone on the phone. The plaintiff concluded that Combs had raped her, the lawsuit states, and that someone had mixed the drug gamma hydroxybutyrate (GHB) with the alcohol.

“Following the attack, plaintiff struggled with severe emotional pain and mental health issues, feeling disgusted and deeply depressed,” the lawsuit states. “The plaintiff has experienced a significant impact on her personal life; she has difficulty maintaining relationships or being in a party mood because of the assault.”

The lawsuit, filed by attorney Tony Buzbee in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, seeks compensatory damages.

It is one of seven new lawsuits that Buzbee has filed suit in state and federal courts against Combs, who already faces federal sex trafficking charges.

Combs’ representatives dismissed the recent lawsuits as “clear attempts at public relations.” They said Combs and his legal team “have full confidence in the facts, their legal defense and the integrity of the judicial process.”

Combs “has never sexually assaulted anyone – adult or minor, male or female,” they added.
